NB-IoT/CAT-M1, or NarrowBand, is a global network falling into the group LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) networks for the Internet of Things. It enables its devices bidirectional communication and is the only one to use the licensed band LTE. The advantage of NB-IoT is use of an already built-out network of a mobile operator, thus ensuring sufficient coverage both inside and outside of buildings. For identification of sensors, this technology has in its devices SIM cards ensuring that you have control of your assets.
